Why become a member?

moirée is a non-profit association (gemeinnütziger Verein) based in Graz, Austria. We document professional discrimination experienced by women and non-binary people in the creative and technology professions (D/A/CH, EU) in a rigorously researched, anonymised database, and carry out research, education and awareness work around it.

Members sustain this work — in spirit, organisationally or financially. The board decides on admission pursuant to § 5 (2) of the statutes; an application may be declined without giving reasons.

Types of membership
€ 25 / year
Full membership
Active participation in the association with full voting rights at the general assembly. The membership fee is € 25 per year (as resolved by the general assembly).
from € 35 / year
Supporting membership
Supporting membership through a higher contribution, without voting rights. The minimum is € 35 per year; you are welcome to contribute more.
by appointment
Honorary membership
For people who have rendered outstanding service to the association. Appointed by the general assembly on the board's proposal.

What every member receives

Your contribution keeps moirée alive and helps us cover the running costs of the non-profit. As a thank-you, every new member receives a welcome package.
